Progress Updates

Thank you Shaunt T for creating a program I can squeeze into my day. With school back in session I am swamped at work and also swamped at home. I have decided that fitness and health is a priority so I have continued to carve out time at least 5 days a week for 25 minutes. T25 allows for this to happen. It's amazeballs.

I shared this with my team and my challengers today on Facebook and I want to post it here for everyone who is not part of those two groups. I am feeling healthier, stronger, happier and less tired. I am tempted by sweet treats and greasy food daily, but I always remind myself of why I started this journey. I am doing this for my family. Becoming the best version of myself is making me a better mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend. I am more available because I have more energy. My family deserves this. Life is busy, and I prefer it this way, but that does not mean you need to be grumpy, sleepy, and unavailable. That's how I was. Living each day for bedtime and time where I could relax. While I still enjoy these times, I also enjoy the every minute, of every day, especially time with my family.

A little hard work, a lot of focus, and choosing to surround myself with the right people has led me to where I am today. Still me: mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, teacher; but a better, more refined version of who I used to be. I am sticking to this and I am not going back.

While these are simply photos of physical changes, I promise you the other stuff is measurable too. Life is good for so many reasons. Oh, and it's pumpkin everything season so life is even better :)
