30 weeks!!

Whoa, hello 30 weeks and the light at the end of the tunnel.  This is seriously how I felt when I woke up this morning and realized I was 30 weeks along with BB.  It also helped that I woke up feeling rested for the first time in weeks.  No back pain, no hip pain, just a rested body.  To whom do I own this thanks to for a fabulous night of sleep?

My new Boppy pregnancy pillow.  Thank you pillow, you are an angel in disguise.  I bit the bullet last night after work and made the $50 investment.  So far, worth every penny! Here's to 9 more weeks of great sleep!

According to babycenter.com here is how BB is developing this week:

Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

We are flying out this evening and headed back north to celebrate BB.  My Mom is throwing Aaron and I a baby shower and I am really looking forward to spending some time with my family and close friends.  I feel very fortunate to have such loving and generous people in my life and I know that BB will feel the love both on Saturday and for the rest of his life.

We are 100% set on his name- as you know it starts with a B.  We will blast the name across the blog but not until we are settled in the new place and I will share through the decor in his nursery.  I will give you a hint though (in case you are dying to know) it is a common name but not one of the more popular names.  Aaron and I had this name long before BB was even in the plan and luckily still agreed on it when we learned we were having a boy!  We are not really set on a middle name yet and in fact really haven't even discussed it.  One thing at a time I guess- he'll have one eventually.
