Happy Halloween!

Halloween has never been my favorite holiday (I really despise dressing in costume), but I will admit having a kiddo does bring out the best in these crazy traditions.  While I had a scrooge moment and said he would not dress for Halloween, of course a sale came my way and voila!  Just like that Bman was an elephant- and a damn cute one if I do say so myself.

Brody's school does a parade and a classroom party and I am so happy  I was able to leave work early and celebrate.  The kiddos in their costumes while shoving their faces with food they normally never have was priceless.  It took some letting go, but I watched (in enjoyment) as Brody had 2 cookies, a BOOnana (banana dipped in greek yogurt made by me), cheese, pineapple, orange segments and chased it down with apple juice.  Holy sugar overload!  I am actually surprised he fell asleep tonight.  Fingers crossed he stays that way...

Brody's treats he brought to share with his classmates.  Banana dipped in vanilla greek yogurt with chocolate chip eyes and a raisin mouth.

 bBrody's costume wouldn't fit in the seat so the jacket was off for snack.  Probably for the better since it would have been a mess...

 I melt... how cute is this kiddo??
