Hittin' the Road

Willis has not been known to be the best of travelers. Part of it could be our fault in that he really doesn't ride in the car all that much except for the long trips to see family. He has gotten better, but he is just restless. On Friday, we drove to Massachusetts to spend some time with family and friends and during the 7 hour car ride Willis never rested! He didn't whine or whimper (which he usually does), and he stayed in the back without being restrained (which we usually have to do), but he never got settled.

As much as I would have loved to have taken the Monster Truck instead of the Go-Cart, it is just not economical when gas is pushing $3.00/gallon. And, you all can imagine the Monster Truck is not the best on gas and round trip is almost 900 miles. So we drove the Honda as we always had before the Monster Truck came into our lives, and it was just like the good 'ole days.
